Itinerary

  • Day 1 TROGIR – SPLIT – TROGIR

Your adventure will begin in fitting style in Trogir. After touring the town centre we’ll journey to Split, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed city beside the azure Adriatic. Here, our trail will take us into the white walls of Diocletian’s Palace, a vast fortress filled with years of history. We’ll also take in the Grgur Ninski Statue and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St Domnius before taking a seat at a family-owned tavern for an authentic meal – and warm Croatian welcome. (D)

  • Day 2 TROGIR – KRKA NATIONAL PARK – TROGIR

This morning will see us seeking the crystalline lakes and energetic rivers of Krka National Park. Then, it’s onwards to a hidden treasure: the Bibich Winery, where we’ll enjoy an afternoon of pure indulgence. At this small family-owned establishment we’ll learn the history of winemaking in the region while being treated to local wines and gourmet tapas. We’ll round off our day with free time to relax back in Trogir. (B)

  • Day 3 TROGIR – KORČULA

Today we’ll catch the ferry from Split to Korčula – our home for the next two nights. Reputed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, it’s hard to see why he would’ve wanted to leave. After checking into our hotel, we’ll get our bearings with a walk through the Old Town – and before the day is over, there’s time to enjoy a dinner and a local cooking class. (B,D)

  • Day 4 KORČULA

Today you can wake in your own time, knowing you have the whole day to spend as you wish. You can lounge at a nearby beach, or find a café and get to know the local cuisine. If you’re in the mood for exploration, you can even hop aboard a taxi boat to Vrnik. (B)

  • Day 5 KORČULA – PELJEŠAC PENINSULA – KOTOR

After bidding farewell to Korčula, we’ll set sail to the nearby Pelješac Peninsula – a hotspot for winemaking since the days of the Roman Empire. We’ll savour the fruits of this ancient tradition on a tour of a local winery, before we leave Croatia briefly for a night in Montenegro. Kotor Bay is a soul-stirring sight – and at the centre lies UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kotor town, seemingly untouched by time. (B, D)

  • Day 6 KOTOR – DUBROVNIK

This morning we’ll delve into Kotor’s history, wandering through cobbled streets and exploring the Cathedral of St Tryphon and the picture-perfect harbour. After stopping off in charming Perast, we’ll board a boat out into the Bay of Kotor to the gorgeous island of Our Lady of the Rocks. While here, we’ll explore the intriguing Byzantine-style church, before heading back to dry land. (B)

  • Day 7 DUBROVNIK

A guided tour of Dubrovnik will take us into the Old Town, where we’ll see top-drawer sites including the Franciscan Monastery, Sponza Palace, the Cathedral of Our Lady and the Old Port. If the weather is on our side, we’ll take the opportunity to climb Mount Srd by cable car. Tonight, there’s a final included dinner to enjoy together. (B,D)

  • Day 8 DUBROVNIK – ELAPHITI ISLANDS – DUBROVNIK

Our last day will see us visit the Elaphiti archipelago before returning to Dubrovnik, where our tour ends. (B,L)
